Hello everyone, I’m Gerri with IrisMagic Photo Studios and today I am going to tell you a little bit about our children’s studio sessions. A common questions I hear is “how long are the studio sessions, my child does not sit still very long? After photographing children for over 10 years, I have found that studio sessions should be short and quick. Young children often have short attention spans, and I need to get them focused and interested right away so we can get the best smiles. Outfit changes are welcome, and I recommend to start with the outfit you like the very best. Our studio has a variety of backdrops and will do a mixture of posed and fun photos. Although photos can be taken any time of the day, I have found that most young children do best in the morning, and we want to make sure we are not shooting close to nap time. The photos are ready 5-7 days after the session. A viewing appointment will be schedule and this is when packages and prints are chosen. Call today if you have any questions.
